Meet Our Staff

Jessica Sullivan, LPCMH

Licensed Therapist
I joined CMWS, LLC, during the start-up in the summer of 2020, based on a shared passion for understanding brain functions and incorporating neuropsychology within therapy to enhance treatment and increase positive outcomes. My experience includes five years working within inpatient settings, specializing in adult dual diagnosis and addictions. Over the past year and a half, I have been an outpatient therapist, working with children and adolescents ages 4 to 19 years old, with a focus on traditional mental health. I have been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, although training is constant and I've noticed I usually learn the most from some of my younger friends. My counseling style includes empathy, humor, and maintaining focus on the client's best interest. I also incorporate neuropsychological treatment techniques and biofeedback techniques to enhance treatment outcomes. With these techniques, I have helped many with Anxiety, Depression, anger issues, ADHD, codependency, communication styles, and many more complications from daily life stressors. The main focus is to restore some balance in the brain and life in general, while providing support to make it to their goal(s) in life, even when it might be hard to see through the 'fog.'

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication through Flagler College and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Wilmington University. I have lovingly been called a "brain dork," and I fully embraced the nickname. When not at work, you can usually find me near the water, as my office shows my love for the ocean. You don't have to struggle alone, there is always hope.

"Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light." - Helen Keller
