Meet Our Staff

Jessie Howard, LPCMH

Education Director/Licensed Therapist
Over my years as a therapist, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults who have struggled to live and cope with many different mental health disorders and life experiences. I have helped individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem issues, patterns of self-harm, attention-deficit disorder, adoption, divorce, anger management issues, various traumatic experiences, and peer, family, and relationship conflicts.

My ongoing training, knowledge, and experience with patients have given me a wealth of resources and tools to use in helping people to cope with and overcome life challenges and tragedies. I have a passion for treating trauma and am proud to be one of the few therapists in the area who are nationally certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and not without a sense of humor. Through a therapeutic connection, I can guide you to use new tools to tackle your issues head-on. My approach combines various counseling theories and techniques to best meet your needs. I feel proud and privileged to serve my community, and I look forward to taking this journey with you!
